Dear Zoya's Family

I am not sure if you remember me, but I wasw very close with Zoya and was roomates with her during our junior year at UCLA. I just recently heard of the passing and I have been devastated by the news. Although she and I had lost touch the last few years, she has alsway held a very special place in my heart. 

In a word, Zoya is beauty. She was great friend, and intellegent academic and a kind person. Zoya gave me comfort, and made me feel comfortable, when I spoke to her of the unexpected passing of my father. She gave her friends time, energy and love. She won't be forgotten.
